PMSC is committed to providing information about nearby upcoming events. Details on events can be found in the calendar below and can be saved to your desktop calendar option, or you can sign up for a Google account for reminders.

 Club meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm at the Granite Steak and Grill in Rochester. Arrive earlier after 6:00 to order food and beverage and meet up with other members. See the calendar below for details on meeting dates.

It's time to give back to our community. Join members of Powder Mill Snowmobile Club as we volunteer to clean up a 2 mile stretch of Rt.11 in New Durham. The more members that help, the easier the task. Safety vests and trash bags are supplied, while it is recommended you bring your own work gloves. Crews will meet he the New Durham Fire Hall on Oct. 1, 2023 at 9 am. We should be finished by 12 noon. CHECK OUR FACEBOOK PAGE FOR ANY UPDATED INFORMATION.

Trail Work

Sundays in October are planned Trail Work days. Volunteers will meet at 8 am on 10/15,10/22 and 10/29 at the New Durham Fire Hall where crews will be assigned various trails  and work that needs to be completed before riding season. CHECK OUR FACEBOOK PAGE FOR ANY UPDATED INFORMATION.

Family Ride

Date depends on weather conditions.Get to know our trail system while meeting other members who just enjoy snowmobiling. All levels of experience are welcome - novice to experienced, all ages too. We meet in front of Johnson's and are on the trail by 9:30 am with stops for photos at The Lookout, The Cabin, The Scenic Loop and then lunch at Poor People's Pub in Wakefield. We will stop and ride to the summit of Moose Mountain on our return trip back to Johnson's. Return time is estimated to be 3- 4 pm. Total mileage round trip is estimated to be 50 miles including the ride up Moose Mt. Event is subject to change depending on the upcoming weather. Night Ride

Date depends on weather conditions. Experience the fun and excitement of riding your snowmobile on a crisp winter night on our pristine and freshly groomer trails. PMSC will hand out colored cellophane to decorate your headlights for our guided ride. For your safety, please remove them when riding the trails back on your own.We will head up to the cabin where Mike will have a fire blazing in the woodstove and a camp fire outside for toasting marshmallows. It’s a great time to meet & greet other snowmobile enthusiasts and find new riding friends. Club raffle tickets, maps and apparel will be available to purchase while marshmallows, cocoa and hot coffee are “on the house”. Departure from the cabin is on your own. You can retrace the route back to Johnsons, continue to enjoy our trails at your own pace, or even head down Corr. 22 for a more direct route to our starting point. The staff at Johnson’s Restaurant (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100063785971314) will have tables available for riders before or after the ride if you are interested in stopping by for dinner on your own. The mapped-out trail ride from Johnsons to the cabin via Tree Farm Trail about 25 miles round trip. Please ride safely.Date will be dependent on weather conditions so keep your eye  Facebook for the most up date information.

Cookout on the Trailside

PMSC "Winter Carnival" and Third Annual Ray Gamble Memorial Poker Run

 

Feb.17, 2024: from 12 noon to 4 pm.. 

This highly popular event is located in front of Trailside Powersports  in New Durham. Snowmobilers and all members of the public are invited to stop by to warm up and fill up on burgers, hot dogs, chili, and more. Warm up by the firepit.  Powder Mill Snowmobile club exclusive apparel, merchandise, new maps and raffle tickets with fabulous prizes will be available for sale.

Participate in the 3rd Annual Poker Run and explore our trails. Registration begins at 9 am and last hand in by 12 noon. Winners announced at 2 pm. Two routes will be available for players via car or snowmobile. Fabulous cash payout to winner. Come greet friends old and new and celebrate the day with vendors who support riders in our club.
